John Twin

monkey plant while ducking the ceiling

Recently I helped build a little wherehouse setup with a few of my friends here in SF. We’ve been working on it for a few months now, but really got down to business the past week or 2. On one particular building night, John Twin and I built this vertwall in a few hours. We built a similar one in the spot, so we knew what getting into. That same night we got to session it, and John decided that he wanted to learn monkey plants. About 15 minutes later he had the trick dialed. I guess when you build something you get extra pumped to ride it…

We Have Motive

We Have Motive is a new site, put together by Keith Treanor, that already features a bunch of great bmx content. Definitely worth adding to your list of sites to check on the regular.

We did a feature on Keith a while back that you should take another look at. A bmx hero to many (myself included), it will be very cool to watch Keith’s new effort with We Have Motive as it grows.

Check out Keith in Dirty Deeds!

Remembering Mike Tag

In the days that followed Mike’s passing, a swell of touching words and memories from every corner of the bmx world found their way online.

Among the amazing number of tributes was this piece that Defgrip put together with words from Mike’s closest friends.

Additionally, RideBMX gathered a number of photos from the archives of Tag along with embedding a number of videos he was part of.

An incredible response, appropriate for the legendary Mike Tag.
