Make a list
I could probably fill the internet with lists of things I think are stupid or annoying, But I bet I would be better served making lists of things that are awesome, and important, regardless of how simple or trivial.
I walked my bike into some woods this weekend, to a spot groomed specifically to my tastes, for good times, where most people don’t choose to spend their time. No traffic, Big screen sports TV’s, no arguments, hassles, or jive turkey’s. What there is, is some loosely formed dirt piles, a radio, playing good music, a couple friends, some shovels and a makeshift fire pit. Most everything in this little section of society is hand built, the jumps, the repaired shovel handles, the bikes, the fire pit, a couple berms, etc…
I chose to ride my bike, work on some stacks of earth, and cook food over a fire, and for under 5 bucks,the smell of roasted vegetables and more shared their space in the air with the mosquitos, the smoke, the sound waves courtesy of Thin Lizzy, and some freewheels clicking while grown men took modest leaps of faith.
Could be worse. Primitive Stoke boosters in a world of ones and zeros!
