Anti Bummer Summer

I took this picture on a bike ride back from a swim spot called echo rock. I think this picture sums up the mood of the day pretty well.
When i got asked to do a little write up about why my summer was so awesome, I was pumped. I was thinking, “this summer was one of the best summers I have ever had. i would love to share it with everyone”.
The only problem though, once i started going through my pictures i realized I really didn’t do anything out of the ordinary this summer. It made me realize that you don’t have to be doing anything special to have something be special. If you can find enjoyment in anything you do, you can enjoy anything you’re doing. It sounds dumb, but sometimes I think people are always looking for more and forgetting about whats in front of them.

This is the swim spot.. if you yell off the rock you can hear your echo so clearly it sounds like you're on the other side of the lake yelling back at yourself.

I had my friend craig take this picture of me hitch hiking to the white mountains. the first person that picked us up was a babe with face tats.

This is my friends Clint and Craig on our hike in the White Mountains. It was over the peaks of 12 mountains and turned into a crazy story.

My friend craig too this pic of me walking on the rail tracks that go to the top of mount washington. this was the half way point of our 3 day hiking adventure.

I took this pic of my friend Jake, on a bike ride in Rhode Island. A Gary Fisher inspired mountain bike roast

this was another day of my summer that got me stoked.. jake and I had just spent the whole day at the trails riding and digging and on our way out the grass was a little damp and we cruising and skidding around a corner. i crashed and slid in the grass and jake said "man that looks like fun, im trying to eat shit like that" and this was the pic i got of him.

My friend Bret rips on a long board. Its always fun to watch

This was taken at bakers acres. 2 friends and I drove out for the Mike Tag jam. We went up the night before and camped at the jumps.. bret and I woke up really early and tried to dial everything in the best we could to be able to ride them the following day.

Kelly Baker took us to this spot. I dont care how many water falls you have seen, another one is always a treat.

Not a bad way to take a summer shower.

This was the sunrise up over the Boston harbor. I went out to the city to ride with some friends. We rode until about 1:00 am and they went home.. it was such a nice summer night that i decided to stay out and roam around the city. I posted up in a park in the grass and watched this sunrise. I slept on the train ride home.

Rope swings are one of my favorite ways to enjoy summer. my friend Emerson took this picture of me so I could remember how much fun we were having

This is a dumb picture. its a guy playing horse shoes.. whoopee. this summer I went to michigan to visit my family. I played horseshoes with my grandfather. it's something small but I really really enjoyed it.
