“I live right along a beautiful Redwood Forest up in the Santa Cruz mountains and my Saturday mornings usually begin by hiking around, riding bikes or playing tunes in the presence of their beauty. This day I packed the banjo on the surly rack and headed for ye ole’ trestle bridge. The tune I’m playing is the instrumental of a song I wrote while traveling Idaho in the winter called ‘make like a local.’ It’s played on an open back banjo in the old time clawhammer style. Get in touch if you want to ride some bikes an play some tunes!’
